This project involved the bespoke design and installation of a charging bay for 48 leisure batteries used in traffic management systems. The installation features six purpose-built 8-way charging units. A critical safety feature is the integrated fire alarm system, which automatically cuts power to the chargers in the event of a fire.

The battery compartment is fully ATEX-rated for explosive atmospheres, ensuring a high level of safety. It also includes a bespoke cable management system to keep the wiring organized and secure. This tailored approach ensures the charging bay is efficient, safe, and specifically suited for the demands of traffic management equipment.
